Niche supercar makers have exploded in popularity as of late, with one of the latest being California-based Trion SuperCars.  So what’s the best way to enter an expanding auto segment?  If you’re Trion, it’s the Trion Nemesis – a supercar that will boast some 2000 HP and a 0-60 mph sprint time of a mere 2.8 seconds.  Propelling the Trion Nemesis to such insane speeds is a twin-turbocharged V8 engine linked to an 8-speed sequential gearbox.  Combine this massive engine with active aero-dynamics, and you have a supercar capable of reaching speeds over 270 miles per hour.

Putting its power and speed in perspective, the world’s fastest car – the Hennessey Venom GT – just broke the previous speed record by hitting 270.4 mph, so if the numbers hold up, the Trion Nemesis should give the Hennessey a run for its money. The previous record was held by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport with a top speed of 269.86 mph.

Other elements of the Nemesis worth noting:  the body and chassis are  made of carbon fibre with Inconel elements, while the interior will be minimal with digital flat panel controls and a “Predator Mode” that will modify interior lighting, height suspension, exhaust and rev limits.  Think of it like the bat mobile’s stealth mode.  Pricing has yet to be announced, but you can see more of the Trion Nemesis in the photo gallery below.
