Rival Bros Coffee

As a a self-admitted coffee addict with what equates to commercial café in my kitchen, I’m always on the lookout for a new roast or blend to try.  My latest coffee venture led me to a small coffee truck and roaster based out of Philly that goes by the name Rival Bros Coffee.  Right now they’re offering a total of 5 coffee/espresso options, with my two favorites being their Whistle & Cuss ($12.50) and Revolver ($11.75).  Whistle & Cuss makes an awesome espresso that’s sweet and nutty with a bit of fruitiness for good measure, whereas Revolver is excellent in both drip/press/pour over methods, noting a richly balanced and chocolatey flavor with a dash of spice.  Both are superb and a tribute to small batch roasting.  Whichever coffee you pick, all are roasted fresh each week and shipped straight to you from Philadelphia, ensuring you’re getting the best beans possible each and every time.
