As its name implies, the Pebble Steel’s hallmark trait is its metal construction in your choice of black matte or brushed stainless steel, each of which comes with both a metal and leather interchangeable strap. There’s also a new Gorilla Glass crystal and tri-color LED display.

Aside from the construction enhancements, there’s no difference in functionality between the original Pebble Smartwatch and the Pebble Steel. It’s compatible with all the current Pebble watch apps, and battery life remains unchanged at 5-7 days before needing to be recharged.
