The new Oakley Heritage Collection ($130 – $200) is a throwback to the Oakley sunglasses of old – the ones that dominated beaches everywhere and whose style was the ideal companion to your perfectly sun kissed mullet. Designed by Oakley’s “Mad Scientists” for their 30th anniversary, the Heritage Collection includes three throwback frames – the Eyeshade, the Razer Blade, and the Frogskin — all rocking vintage 80’s colors. Bringing them to the current day, however, Oakley is using modern lens technology, which obviously has taken a huge step up since in the past three decades. If you want a pair, a limited number of the collection’s seven styles will be available online at Oakley on February 1st, and the following week from select premium retailers in-store.
