Italian bike maker MV Agusta has introduced a new model they’re calling the most extreme Brutale ever: the MV Agusta Brutale 800 Dragster. Like the standard Brutale 800, the Brutale 800 Dragster is powered by a 798cc inline triple engine with a redline of 13,000 rpm, a power output of 125 horsepower at 11,600 rpm and 58.5 lbs.-ft. of torque at 8600 rpm.
Both bikes also note a six-speed cassette-style transmission with Electronic Assisted Shift (EAS) for clutchless, full-throttle upshifts; an integrated control system with traction control system and four riding modes; and the ability to fine tune engine response, the rev limiter, throttle sensitivity and more to your specific preferences. Where the two bikes differ is in their styling: whereas the standard Brutale 800 is more subdued, the Brutale 800 Dragster notes a distinctly more aggressive, sport bike appearance. And when you’re on a bike this wickedly fun to ride, you may as well look good doing it.
