Mercedes AMG is known for packing an incredible amount of power and performance into Mercedes’ standard luxury lineup, but as such, their designs tend to be more understated than some of their high performance competitors. As part of Sony’s upcoming GranTurismo 6 video game, however, Mercedes’ designers weren’t bound by their typical design rules, allowing them free reign to build the supercar you wished Mercedes would produce. The result is this: the Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo. And it looks absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, a concept model won’t actually be built by Mercedes, but in game, the Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo notes an AMG V8 engine delivering 577 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque in a 3,053 lbs body along with an AMG performance braking system. If you’re an AMG fan, it’s the car you wish Mercedes AMG would build.
Look for the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo to be available exclusively as downloadable content for GranTurismo 6, which debuts December 6 on the PlayStation 3.
