The MAINGEAR Pulse 17 gaming laptop may be the world’s thinnest 17-inch gaming notebook, sporting an Intel Core i7 4700HQ processor and a a GeForce GTX 765M with 2GB RAM
Abandoning the notion that gaming laptops have to be bulky in size and back-breaking in weight, MAINGEAR has launched what they’re calling the “world’s thinnest” 17-inch gaming notebook in their new Pulse 17 gaming laptop. It’s 0.85″ thick, weighs less than six pounds, and rocks a 17.3-inch 1,920x 1080 widescreen display. Under the hood, an Intel Core i7 4700HQ clocked at 2.4GHz (which can be pushed to 3.4GHz via Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 if necessary), a GeForce GTX 765M with 2GB RAM and a monstrous 16GB of total RAM provide the gaming power, while storage is handled either by a 1TB HDD or a pair of 480GB SSDs in a Raid 0 configuration.
