Taking a page from the host of other all-in-one computers currently on the market, LG has introduced their own entrant in the AIO computer segment, and they’re calling it the LG Chromebase ($TBA). As its name implies, the Chromebase will be powered by Google’s Chrome OS, an operating system more commonly seen in notebook computing. Paired with the Chrome operating system, the Chromebase will note a 21.5-inch display with 1,920×1,080 full HD resolution, an Intel Celeron Haswell processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of solid-state storage, along with the requisite keyboard, mouse, speakers, webcam, USB ports and networking capabilities. There’s also an HDMI input that should give you the ability to use it the Chromebase as a monitor for a different PC. Pricing has yet to be announced, but look for its official introduction next month at CES.
