The Lego Ghostbusters Set ($50) is official, and fans of Ghostbusters will be pleased to here that the four main characters – Peter, Winston, Egon, and Ray – are all included. There’s also the requisite proton packs, walkie talkies and ghost traps, along with the fantastic Ecto-1, which looks significantly better than some of the other movie-inspired vehicles of the past (I’m looking at you Back to the Future DeLorean).
First came the official Simpsons Lego Set; now Lego has announced another long overdue creation in the form of the Lego Ghostbusters Set ($50). Fans of Ghostbusters will be pleased to here that the four main characters – Peter, Winston, Egon, and Ray – are all included, as are the requisite proton packs, walkie talkies and ghost traps. Also on hand is the fantastic Ecto-1, which looks significantly better than some of the other movie-inspired vehicles of the past (I’m looking at you Back to the Future DeLorean). As of now, the firehouse, Slimer and other Ghostbuster characters are absent; however there’s still plenty of time for more to be unveiled ahead of the Lego Ghostbusters June launch.
