Fans of Johnny Cash will be ecstatic to hear that the Man in Black has a new album coming out March 25th entitled Out Among the Stars. Discovered in 2012 after being locked in a vault for the past few decades, Out Among the Stars was recorded with producer Billy Sherrill and features expanded band, including a young Marty Stuart on guitar and fiddle and long-time duet partners June Carter Cash and Waylon Jennings. The album was subsequently completed in 2013 by Johnny’s only son John Carter Cash, and features 13 previously unheard Johnny Cash tracks – not alternate takes of different versions of Cash songs you’ve already heard – and I personally can’t wait to hear it.
