James Bond’s 1965 Aston Martin DB5 was the epitome of coolness, introducing the world to a car loaded with gadgets and weaponry. So what’s the going rate to own Bond’s Aston Martin DB5? For one of the two publicity DB5’s, the answer is a cool $4.925 million (about 6x the cost of a standard 1965 Aston Martin DB5). That’s the price RS Williams had listed for the Thunderball publicity tour Bond Aston Martin DB5.

Arguably the most famous car in the world, James Bond’s 1965 Aston Martin DB5 was the epitome of coolness, introducing the world to a car loaded with gadgets and weaponry.  There were a total of four Aston DB5’s made for the Bond films – two for filming and two for publicity tours – with one since disappearing after being stolen (or the vicitm of insurance fraud) back in 1997.  So with only three left, what’s the going rate to own Bond’s Aston Martin DB5?  For one of the two publicity DB5’s, the answer is a cool $4.925 million (about 6x the cost of a standard 1965 Aston Martin DB5).  That’s the price RS Williams had listed for the Thunderball publicity tour Bond Aston Martin DB5, and apparently it’s already been sold, as the sales listing has been removed.  And while you may not be able to buy the James Bond 1965 Aston Martin DB5, you can still see it up close in our Bond Aston Martin DB5 photo gallery.

Price: $5 Million
