Harman Kardon has introduced a new wireless speaker dubbed the Harman Kardon Aura ($400). Designed to work seamlessly with a huge range of wireless technologies including Apple Airplay, Bluetooth, DLNA and Wi-Fi, the Aura lets you take in Harman Kardon’s legendary sound quality from a huge range of music devices without the cords. Inside, the Aura boasts 6 X 1.5” high- and mid-range drivers to deliver omni-directional, 360º sound, while a 4.5” subwoofer serves up rich, powerful bass. The Harman Kardon Aura also notes custom, stereo-widening DSP audio technology to further enhance sound quality. Housing it all, the Aura is dressed in a premium cloth grill along with a transparent enclosure – designed to let you see the subwoofer and its custom-built metal housing and illuminating LED. As for when you can get your hands on one, pre-orders are open now, with deliveries starting in February.
