FUJIFILM has officially unleashed their highly anticipated FUJIFILM X-T1 camera ($1,300 for the body), and it’s enough to to make photographers everywhere drool with anticipation.  At its core, the X-T1 is sporting a APS-C-sized 16M X-Trans CMOS II sensor featuring an original color filter array that minimizes moire and color aberration, resulting in image quality that rivals that of a full-frame sensor.  Paired with the sensor is a new high-resolution 2.36 million dot OLED real time viewfinder that notes a lag time of just 0.005 seconds — less that a tenth of conventional cameras.  Also noteworthy is the X-T1’s digital analog mode, allowing you to control manual shutter speed, exposure compensation, ISO sensitivity and metering dials, even when the power’s off.  Add in a rugged water and dust resistant design, and the X-T1 is the most pro-oriented camera in the X-Series lineup yet.
