The car you see before you is the Felino CB7 ($TBA) – a track ready sports car that’s street legal enough to ride on public roads. If you’ve never heard of Felino, you’re not alone. Established by Canadian racing driver Antoine Bessette, Felino is a new car brand based out of Canada, and the CB7 is their first offering after a four year development cycle. It’s powered by a GM-sourced V8 6.2-liter engine with an output of 525 bhp and 489 lb-ft of torque, mated to your choice of a six-speed manual or sequential transmission. With a weight of just 2,500 lbs thanks to a largely carbon fiber body, expect 0-60 mph performance figures in the sub 3.5 second range, while other goodies include an independent suspension with double wishbones on both axles and six-piston front / four-piston rear brake calipers in your choice of steel or ceramic. Pricing has yet to be announced, but the base model will come in under the $100,000 mark.
