Eagle E-Type Low Drag GT

The Jaguar E-Type is one of the most iconic British cars ever to be built.  Now imagine that classic E-Type body completely restored, streamlined and widened; lightened with lightweight aluminum and fitted with modern technologies.  Then add in an updated interior redone in Mercury colored paint with chrome accents.  Drooling yet?  The car, though hard to believe, really does exist.  It’s the Eagle Low Drag GT ($1,050,000), and it’s an amazing piece of automotive engineering.  It’s powered by an all-aluminum 4.7-liter fuel injected inline-six (346 hp); it’s capable of rocketing from 0-60 in under 5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 170 mph; but most importantly, the Eagle Low Drag GT manages to keep much of the design appeal that made the original Jaguar E-Type so enticing.
