Believe it or not, the bike you see before you is a 2003 Ducati 999s Testastretta – an Italian superbike built for racing. The difference, however, is that this one has been transformed by Venier Custom Motorcycles into a completely redesigned street bike, renamed the Ducati 999VX. Despite its restyling, however, the Venier’s Ducati 999VX is still a beast. Specs include Ducati 1000GT wheels, Ohlins front forks and rear shock, Termignoni Corse headers, an STM EVO clutch, Discacciati front brakes and levers, a RapidBike ECU and a Zard muffler. Output is in the 150 horsepower range, while the styling has been changed to offer an exposed view of the frame, including the new custom Venier rear subframe. If you want one, lead time is 16 weeks plus shipping, but the memories you’ll make on your new 999VX will last a lifetime.
