To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the “Scat Pack Club, Dodge has introduced new Scat packages for their Charger, Challenger and Dart. There are three different Scat packages available for both the Dodge Chargers and the Challengers equipped with the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. The Scat Packages get better from 1-3, giving more power with each increased level thanks to increased cold-air intake, a cat-back exhaust, an optimized or upgraded ECU, a Mopar performance camshaft and lastly, Mopar cylinder heads and high-flow headers. Dodge didn’t just limit the packages to power, however, the models received upgrades like Katzkin leather seats, red seat-belt webbing and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The Dodge Dart GT has also has three Scat packs with the entry-level package with a cold-air intake, a short-throw shifter and high-performance brake pads. From there the packages add on an optimized ECU and a cat-back exhaust system, a Mopar big brake kit – with 13-inch vented rotors, four-piston front calipers and stainless steel lines – and a sport-tuned suspension with adjustable springs and dampers.
