Inspired by the FGR4 Typhoon fighter jet, Christopher Ward has updated their C1000 Typhoon FGR4 watch in a predominantly black color scheme. The most sophisticated aviation watch Christopher Ward has ever produced, the C1000 Typhoon FGR4 Ceramic notes a matte black ceramic case that’s incredibly light, yet 7x stronger than steel. It’s so strong, in fact that only a diamond can scratch it. Inside, a second titanium case houses a modified version of the ETA Valjoux 7750 chronograph movement, with the backplate, crown and twin pushers all IPK black-coated titanium to match the sleek black styling. Completing the package, a charcoal black dial with SuperLuminova numerals and a high density black webbing strap both pay homage to the C1000 Typhoon FGR4’s aircraft inspired design elements.
