Hitting store shelves over the weekend, Casio has launched their upscale G-Shock MT-G Collection – a collection of three distinct chronograph models. Crafted by Casio entirely in-house in their Japanese factory, the watches blend G-Shocks’ legendary toughness with a more refined styling. There’s the MTGS1000D-1A ($900), which comes in a polished stainless steel & resin construction; the MTGS1000BD-1A ($1,000), which notes a refined black Ion Plated stainless steel & resin construction; and to celebrate G-SHOCK’s 30th anniversary, there’s the limited edition black Ion Plated MTGS1030BD-1A ($1,100) that features gold highlights and a unique, red paneled bracelet band. At present, the three watches are available exclusively at Torneau and G-Shock NYC Soho.
