First came their tribute to legendary Le Mans champion Jean-Pierre Wimille, and now, Bugatti has revealed part two of what is to become their six-part “Legends” series. Entitled the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse Jean Bugatti Edition, the new model is a tribute to Jean Bugatti, the oldest of founder Ettore Bugatti’s four sons. The special edition Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse is inspired by Jean’s personal Type 57SC Atlantic (a car he designed) and mimics the look of his La Voiture Noire (aka., “The Black Car”).
Highlights include a black carbon fiber finish with a brown and beige two-tone cabin and rosewood shifter. Adding to the price tag, a platinum grille, matching EB badges and diamond-cut five-spoke wheels are all in place, which brings pricing to a cool $3 million USD. If you’re interested, however, you better act fast, as Bugatti is only producing a mere three models for sale to the public.
