Think the BMW 3 and 4-Series range couldn’t any bigger? Think again. Adding to the already available sedan/coupe/convertible/wagon/Gran Turismo options, BMW has introduced the BMW 4-Seris Gran Coupe ($43,225+) – which is in essence a hatchback with four side doors. Compared to the 3-Series, the 4 Series Gran Coupe is longer and wider by roughly a half inch, while height has been decreased by an inch and a half. Altering its overall styling, however, is a longer roofline with a more sculpted rear and a slightly lower, more aggressive stance. Power is provided by the same engines used in the rest of the 3/4-Series range, including a 240hp 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four and a 300hp 3.0-liter turbo-six, while rear wheel drive and BMW’s eight-speed automatic come standard. Also available will be BMW’s Luxury, Sport and M Sport trims. Look for the BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe’s official debut this March, and see it now in our 4-Series Gran Coupe photo gallery.
