Adding to their current wave of new models, Mercedes has taken the wraps off the 2015 C-Class ($TBA), and its styling looks remarkably similar to that of the 2014 S-Class, albeit in a much smaller package. To help differentiate the C-Class class from their other entry-level sedan – the CLA-Class – Mercedes has opted to enlarge the model, making it 95mm longer and 40mm wider than its predecessor. Power will be provided by your choice of either a 235-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 or a 329-hp 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 paired with Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Inside a completely redesigned interior is roomier and offers a host of tech options, including an optional Intelligent Drive safety system that includes Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and DISTRONIC PLUS adaptive cruise control, while Mercedes’ PRE-SAFE and COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS will come standard. Look for the 2015 C-Class to hit dealerships next fall.
