Launching alongside the 2014 BMW M3 Sedan today is the 2014 BMW M4 Coupe, a sibling that notes virtually identical traits when compared to its four door counterpart. Like the M3, killer features include a inline-six high-revving TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter engine delivering 431 hp and a maximum torque of 406 lb-ft, a reworked MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension that are both lighter and more rigid, and an optional seven-speed M DCT that comes with launch control and a “smokey burnout” mode that affords you a certain degree of wheel spin when you want it. When equipped with the aforementioned seven-speed M DCT, the M4 runs fro 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds (or 4.3 seconds with a manual gearbox), while top speed again is limited to 155 mph. Add in the optional M Driver’s Package and you can raise the BMW M4’s top speed to 174 mph. Hit the gallery to see the 2014 BMW M4 Coupe in the flesh.
