For Bavarian car lovers, today is a joyous day, as BMW has officially taken the wraps off the newest members of their high performance M-Series lineup: the 2014 M3 Sedan and 2014 M4 Coupe. On the M3, some of the killer features include a inline-six high-revving TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter engine delivering 431 hp and a maximum torque of 406 lb-ft, a reworked MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension that are both lighter and more rigid, and an optional seven-speed M DCT that comes with launch control and a “smokey burnout” mode (allowing some wheel spin when you want to play). With the aforementioned seven-speed M DCT, 0-62 mph time 4.1 seconds (or 4.3 seconds without), while top speed is limited to 155 mph. For some extra cash, you can also add in the M Driver’s Package and bump it up to 174 mph. Hit the gallery to see the 2014 BMW in the flesh.
